چکیده
Significant effects of organoclay and poly(melamine-co-formaldehyde)-methylated (PMFM) impregnation on the mechanical, morphological, thermal characteristics raw pulai wood were investigated in this work. The material’s modulus elasticity (MOE) as well maximum compression force (MCF) impregnated organoclay/PMFM samples optimized using a designed experiment. MOE MCF models had R2 values 0.9228 0.8340, respectively. After samples, increased considerably, indicating that wood’s mechanical improved. compositional analysis verified polymerization dispersion PMFM. Using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, reduction hydroxyl groups was detected. successfully filled pores cell cavities, seen by scanning electron microscopy. stability better than wood, with higher glass transition temperature determined differential calorimetry. thermogravimetric study revealed decomposition temperatures sample.

Optimization of Swelling Percentage of Poly(AAm-co-AA) in BaCl2 Salt Solution Using Response Surface Methodology (RSM)
: Unwanted water production from oil and gas reservoirs is a serious problem for producers. Preformed particle gel (PPG) treatment is a benefit approach to control excess water production. Swelling percentage of PPG samples in saline water is a key factor affecting the efficiency of the water conformance process. In this study, an efficient series of PPGs were synthesized and their swelling beh...
متن کاملPhotocatalytic Removal of Amaranth Optimization Using Response Surface Methodology
Since Amaranth (AM) is one of the dye compounds which is harmful to human’s life its removal from industrial waste water would reduce their environmental impact and health effect. Copper nanoparticle (CuNP) is a simple and eco-friendly material which can be used to remove this pollutant. In this paper, copper nanoparticles were synthesized, for removal of AM dye. The experiments were designed b...
متن کاملBentazon removal from aqueous solution by reverse osmosis; optimization of effective parameters using response surface methodology
Although bentazon is widely used as an agricultural herbicide, it is harmful to humans and poses many environmental threats. This study focused on the treatment of wastewater contaminated with bentazon pesticides using membrane technology. In this regard, low-pressure reverse osmosis (RO) was employed as it has already been used in the removal of other micro-pollutants. The effects of process v...
